Philadelphia, PA – As our families prepare to honor our fathers this Father’s Day, so do we in the community seek to honor those who have made special contributions to the care and maintenance of those who live and work in our neighborhoods. That’s why the Black Men in Fashion are taking this special opportunity to honor and celebrate the lives of such men during our Black Men in Fashion Pre-Father’s Day Pop-up Party Saturday, June 19th from 12:00pm – 2:00pm at Park West Town Center, 1575 N 52nd St. Philadelphia, PA 19131.
Your listeners, subscribers, readers and/or viewers won’t want to miss this celebration as we honor some very special and deserving men.
This event will also feature an interactive Father’s Day photo booth where our guests will have an opportunity to capture this special moment for future generations.
But that’s not all. No celebration is complete without a little dancing, and we plan to have our share at this event which includes our Soul Train Catwalk!
During this tribute, we will bestow honors upon Jeff Brown, of Brown Family ShopRite, The Life Changer Award 2021; Imam Jamil Abdullah, Philadelphia Masjid, Community Healer’s Award 2021; David Oh, City Councilmember At-Large, Servant Leader’s Award 2021 and Larry Boone will receive the Black Men in Fashion’s 2021 Man of the Year Award.
This event is sponsored by Black Men in Fashion in partnership with the nonprofit Community Healing 4 All and will be hosted by ‘The Voice’ himself, radio personality Mannwell Glen.
